Welcome to Hart’s Books, independent booksellers located in the beautiful medieval market town of Saffron Walden. The name Hart’s has been synonymous with books in the town since 1836, and the current shop, owned by Daunt Books, opened in King St, next to Hart’s original premises in 2016. Our aim is to be a genuinely local bookshop, catering to all ages and tastes with excellent customer service. We run regular evening talks and children’s events too, including a weekly story time. Whether you are looking for a recommendation or just a browse on the way to the market, we look forward to seeing you.
